Welcome to the website for The Center of Holistic Awareness & Study (CHAS).  CHAS is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that provides, in various venues, spiritual, metaphysical and esoteric classes and workshops to the community.  The purpose of these classes and workshops is to foster the evolution of the human spirit through the study and practice of the world’s wisdom traditions and provide the basics of holistic well-being, health and healing. CHAS, is located in Bowie, MD and provides services in  the Baltimore, Annapolis and Washington, DC area.  Our classes on Spiritual Development, include Passive and Active Meditation, Numerology, Astrology, Esoteric Christianity, Ancient Wisdom studies, and holistic healing of our multi-dimensional bodies using spiritual awareness, nutrition, reiki and alternative therapies.

As we help others awaken to their own spirituality we become sisters and brothers serving humanity. Each of us plays a role in the "web" of life and has the power to choose to make a difference. Our workshops and classes provide the tools for growth and "inner work".

Humanity is alive with a "spirit of inquiry" perhaps more than at any other time in our history. The masses are becoming increasingly sensitive to the world of new ideas, and to the vision of truth. The spirit in man has always been divinely alive, but today there is a collective inquiry of one voice: Who am I and why am I here? Which is the way that we should go?

The Center for Holistic Awareness & Study seeks to foster the awakening of the human spirit through the study and practice of teachings that provide inner awakening and higher consciousness for those who are traveling their paths.  

If humanity is to once again, embody the "Light" within,  and understand the purpose for living, we must begin with ourselves, for within the "self" the answers live. Our center provides workshops and classes that unlock and awaken this inner self.

If we are to, "pass through the gateway of light", as many cultures have prophesied for thousand of years, we must awaken individually and collectively.
